This course is recommended for K - 12 school and district educators and is intended to provide basic information and resources to help you in the development of your work-based learning (WBL) program. While each school's WBL program may look a bit different from another, there are certain considerations and strategies to ensure a high-quality program for our students.

Estimated time to complete: 2 hours or less.

Technology recommendations: This course will run best when using a computer, laptop or tablet computer. It is also recommended you use an updated Google Chrome Browser or Mozilla Firefox browser.

2 - Developing a WBL Program - This section will lead you through the basics needed for developing a WBL program. This section covers: Considerations for a High-Quality WBL Program, What Counts as WBL?, Roles & Responsibilities in WBL

3 - Implementing a WBL Program - The focus of this section is the information and tools you need to implement a WBL program. This section covers: Using WBL Course Codes, Connecting Students to Employers, Post-Experience Assessment & Evaluation, Essential Documents
