Full course description
The McKinney-Vento Liaison training program is designed to address the problems that homeless children and youth face in enrolling, attending, and succeeding in school. State educational agencies (SEAs) and Local educational agencies (LEAs) must ensure that homeless children and youth have equal access to the same free, appropriate public education, including a public preschool education, as other children and youth. Each year, at least one district employee is required to successfully complete the training.
