NEW! Enroll now. This course will begin on January 1, 2026. The content for Title I certification is grounded in requirements from the Nebraska Department of Education. This course is FREE for Nebraska educators. Nebraska educators can get the promo code before enrolling from the school district.
To earn a course certificate, participants must complete three Content Skills Assessments, (Reading, Writing, and Mathematics) with a score of 69% or higher.
There are three lessons available to course participants to aid in preparation for the Content Skills Assessments.
- Lesson 1: Reading
- Lesson 2: Math
- Lesson 3: Writing Practices
These lessons are optional, and participants may attempt the Content Skills Assessments at any time. However, if an assessment is not passed, it is recommended the related lesson be reviewed before retaking the test.
In addition, the course provides several optional lessons on the role of a paraeducator. While these lessons are not required for certification, they may enhance participants' knowledge and skills.
