This course reviews the ELP (English Language Proficiency) Standards and PLDs (Proficiency Level Descriptors). Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the proficiency level descriptors in the ELP standards and in the beginning levels of language acquisition. Participants will explore the vocabulary, sentence structures, and discourse (conversation patterns) at the emerging and progressing levels. This course can be completed in one setting or a series of settings and the time will vary for each individual.
