This course is designed to be used by Nebraska K -12 educators and districts to establish, review, and improve services for English learners.

1. This course will equip Nebraska educators to fulfill the Nebraska EL Mission: to lead and support academic language learning so that English learners have meaningful access to high-quality instruction that will prepare them for learning, earning, and living. This course aligns with the Nebraska Rule 15: Regulations and Procedures for English Learner Programs in Nebraska Public Schools.

2.  Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate of completion. This course meets the Rule 15 professional learning requirement for teachers who do not currently hold an ESL endorsement.
