This project was developed based on the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This course is intended to provide supplemental training for childcare providers who participate in CACFP. This course will: - Help ensure that the CACFP meal pattern requirements are met at breakfast - Describe the importance of breakfast - Review sugar limits for breakfast cereals and yogurts - Explain how meat/meat alternates can be served in place of grains - Provide best practice ideas and resources for serving a variety of meat and meat alternates This course will take approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete and consists of: - Pre-test (10 minutes) - Serving Breakfast in the CACFP Video (~37 minutes) - Breakfast Resources (~30 minutes) - Post-test (10 minutes)
