This project was developed based on the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This course is intended to provide supplemental training for childcare providers who participate in CACFP. This course will: -Help ensure that the CACFP meal pattern requirements are met at snack -Describe the importance of healthy snacks -Provide tips for introducing new foods at snack -Identify healthy snack options -Provide best practice ideas and resources This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete and consists of: -Pre-test (5-10 minutes) -Serving Snacks in the CACFP Video (~33 minutes) -Snack Resources (~20 minutes) -Post-test (5-10 minutes)
