Thank you for registering for the Serving Breakfast in the CACFP training.
This project was developed in accordance with the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This course is intended to provide supplemental training for childcare providers who participate in CACFP.
This Course Will:
- Help ensure that CACFP meal pattern requirements are met at breakfast
- Describe the importance of breakfast
- Review sugar limits for breakfast cereals and yogurts
- Explain how meat/meat alternates can be served in place of grains
- Provide best practice ideas and resources for serving a variety of meat/meat alternates
