Full course description
This course for K - 12 teachers using Canvas in their classrooms was developed to support Nebraska educators in building confidence and foundational skills within Canvas. The learning experiences throughout this course are intended to provide practical guidance and hands-on opportunities for teachers beginning their Canvas journey.
This Course Will:
- Navigate Canvas using both Global Navigation and Course Navigation tools
- Identify and use common Canvas content types, including pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, and files
- Build a simple Canvas module that guides students through a clear learning pathway
- Create learning activities and opportunities for student interaction within Canvas
- Use SpeedGrader and feedback tools to support student learning and communication
- Develop a foundational Canvas course structure that can continue to grow over time
